We select and use only and exclusively the operculum beeswax, i.e. a purer and cleaner wax that the bees produce and use to seal the honeycomb.

We prefer this to the wax used by the bees in making the cell walls because the latter, thanks to being in long contact with propolis and the larvae, loses its natural brightness and scent.

This, then, explains the special bright yellow color and warm atmosphere that emantes from our pieces; whilst the longlasting fragrance is nothing less than the admixture of the pleasant scent of the wax and the characteristic perfume of honey.
